ok for a little while

This basket worked for a little while, but the straps that hold it onto the bike were the first thing to break. I assume the sun made them brittle. After putting a very small amount of weight in the basket (for about 6 mo), it started to unravel and fall apart, but held on for another few months after being revived with duct tape. Good product for a little girl who doesn't put more than a doll in it, or who will outgrow her bike in a year.

Do Not Buy This BASKET!!

I just bought this for my daughter for her birthday(she got a new bike). It looked really cute but the baskest literally fell apart as we put it on the bike. The top is wrapped plastic which is subposed to hold the basket weave that goes up and down but it didn't. The basket fell to the floor while the rim was attached to the bike. Poor girl didn't even get to use it. I wouldn't even have given this any stars but I had to, to get to the next screen.

I wasn't too sure when ordering this basket for my granddaughters bike.(12inch) Took a chance and happy I did. The basket is well made(not flimsy) and cute as can be. Fits perfect on her little bike.It would be too small for a larger bike.The basket came wrapped and packaged well and in a timely manner.
