After much disappointment with a Topeak bag of similar size, I decided on the Avenir. The main problem with bags of this design is keeping the handlebar clamps from rotating forward. The latest Topeak bag uses a small cable that wraps around the bar and then attaches to the clamp. This fix is very problematic. The Avenir uses a vinyl coated band clamp that bolts to the handlebar clamp. Very effective and impressive in its simplicity. It is impossible for the clamp to rotate with this design. I installed it in under 5 minutes.
The bag itself seems to be high quality as well and is just the right size. I'm a Topeak fan and have many of their products but this handlebar bag is far superior to their model, especially the mounting hardware. If you're in the market for a handlebar bag, look no further.

Avenir Excursion QR Handlebar Bag (484 Cubic Inches)This bag is great, it has enough room for a sweatshirt in the center part, and more. The outer pocket has room for house keys and wallet sunglasses, cell phone. On each side you have room for a bottle of water on each side, I love it. It has enough room for everything I would want to carry, and more.

We have two of these bags - they fit more than enough stuff for our simple day trips. Very simple to install and the one button pop-off feature makes them great to stop along the way, and then simply carry our valuables, water, cell phone, etc. Plenty of extra pockets, and easy zippers to open even when riding!
