I usually just throw all my stuff in my seat pack for commuting, but then I have to fish out my keys from my multi-tool, I worry about my phone getting scratched up, and it is generally a hassle. I decided to try this bag and it works out very nicely. Initially I was worried about it interfering with my steering or the brake cable that is routed along my top tube, but I have no issues. The bag is very convenient for getting stuff in and out of. I can put my cell phone in the mesh on the sides and not worry about it getting scratched by my keys or anything else in the bag. It is also nice because I can use my phone to play music on without having to keep it in my pockets. This bag would also be a great place to keep anything you want quick access to while riding. There are two zippers on the lid that are connected by a pull string so you can easily open and close the bag with one hand while riding.
Construction quality looks good on this bag, it should hold up well.
I've currently got it mounted on my Trek 2.1 road bike.

I don't often post reviews, but this product deserves a rave. I bought two Bushwacker Top Tube Bags a month ago because my wife and I are doing lots of long rides (on road bikes) and wanted to carry a little more stuff than our seat bags would comfortably hold. Now, instead of stuffing our jersey pockets with nutrition, sunscreen, cell phones, keys, lip protection, money, ID, etc., we just put it all in this top-tube bag where it's easily accessible. I still put some things in my jersey pockets, but now it's not so weighed down. I prefer putting that extra weight on my frame rather than on my body.
Somebody put some excellent thought into the design of this bag. The mesh sleeves on both sides are nice for super easy access. The opening has zippers on either side, running the length of the bag and connected with a pull-strap so you can easily open or close the bag with one hand. The top peels back, toward you, and can be secured in the open position thanks to the way the Velcro is situated. When that top panel is closed, secured by the zippers and Velcro, the contents are well protected from the elements. You can tell at a glance that all the materials are high-grade, as is the workmanship. The inside is even lined.
The bag secures to your bike with four Velcro straps. I was worried that it might wobble too much on my top tube, but it doesn't move much at all. My knees do lightly graze the bag sometimes when I am up and out of the saddle, usually on uphills, but not enough to bother me. The bag is 7 inches long, though, so some riders may have issues with knee contact even when they are sitting. My knees come close in that riding position but never actually touch the bag.
If you're looking for a top tube bag, this one would be hard to beat. I think it's an excellent value. Looks like it will last a long time.

This is a very well constructed and well designed utility bag.
I was very impressed in their attention to detail: the straps come separately from the bag and you can insert 2 different length straps thru the double stitched "slots" that hold the bag to the bike. Also, the bag has outside mesh pockets for a gel pak, snack, or to stow your trash as you ride. Nice, very nice.
The interior is roomy and I have plenty of room for my smart phone, wallet, and reading glasses (always handy when you get to a place where the trail has a sign to read and the words "Caution" are followed by letters so small that my tired old eyes need a little help). I could still include my keys or a small digital camera if I wanted to. This is a roomy bag.
Zippers are good and the added Velcro gives more peace of mind. Not sure about the zipper pull strap - time will tell if it is durable enough. The bag is very stable on the bike although (as with any top tube bag) I had to thread the strap around my brake cable.
Have had other bags, mostly with more negatives than positives. This is a very good bag, good price, buy it.
